Equipment Field Reports
An Equipment Field Report documents my "real world" experiences with a particular piece of gear. It is information provided from my perspective, as a photographer, on gear that I use to create images. Additionally, an EFR will provide insight as to how I chose a piece of gear to fit into my kit.
A field report is not an exercise in pixel peeping, product comparison, or feature documentation. There are plenty of excellent resources for such data. Here are a few: Digital Photography Review, Imaging Resource, Bob Atkins' Reviews and Previews.
My hope is that by way of these EFR's, other photographers find value in my own experiences and insights.
